Due to rapid growth and demanding dynamics within our firm, our management urgently needs an expert in Estate Planning. Are you entrepreneurial and would you like to develop your own department? What’s in a name? 

You will take responsibility for developing the ‘Estate Planning’ department within the firm. With the CEO as your sounding board, you will have the opportunity to enter the market and become the face of this department at Lauwers. Your responsibilities include:

• Business Development; you will further expand the existing client base by proactively presenting your department and thus securing additional cases;
• You will independently manage your own cases (advice & guidance for individuals & business owners on tax optimizations, wealth structuring, succession planning, etc.);
• You will be the point of contact for other lawyers when they have questions in your area of expertise;
• You will attend events where you build relationships with intermediaries (bankers, accountants, etc.) & clients;
• As a content expert, you ensure that your professional knowledge is always up to date;
• You will create marketing content about estate planning for the firm’s website and social media channels (newsletters, mailings, etc.);

Profile:

• You have a Master’s degree in Law with an additional diploma in notary and/or estate planning;
• You have at least 5 years of in-depth practical experience in the field of estate planning and have already built a network;
• You are determined and will do everything to grow your department within the firm;
• You are capable of conducting thorough legal analyses and quickly providing practical solutions;
• You are looking for a work environment where you are expected to take initiative and where the focus is on quality and efficiency;
• Fluent in Dutch, English, and French, both spoken and written, is essential.
